The Reason LiveCD has been updated to the latest release (4.0).
The updated LiveCD is based on OpenSUSE 11.4, and the Reason CMS source is a clone of reason_package @ GitHub.

Happy Holidays - I have been away on parental leave, but now I'm back, and I wanted to post an update on a few things going on in the world of Reason CMS!
While I think pretty much everyone is running Reason under PHP 5, the next point release of Reason will be no longer support PHP 4. Nightly builds will likely stop supporting PHP 4 early in early January.
In other news, there are three items that will be in the next version of Reason (two are already in nightly builds) that I want to briefly highlight.

The updated version of the LiveCD is now available. It contains a preconfigured, boot and go build of Reason 4 Beta 8. This is a great tool for evaluating Reason without installing it to a server.

The Reason LiveCD Version 1.1 is now available, and replaces the Reason 4 Beta 7 virtual machine that could previously be requested through this site. Download the LiveCD today!

Reason developers from Carleton and Luther Colleges will be at the 10th Annual GusDay Conference on the Carleton College campus on Friday, December 4. We'll be showing off Reason at an exhibit booth during the vendor sessions and available for questions throughout the day. We also plan to debut version 1.1 of the Reason LiveCD, which provides a simple way to test out Reason.

The Implementing Reason CMS with Small Teams and Small Budgets session today went well. Thanks for Steve, Charles, Matt, and Melissa for telling your Reason story.
